I attended Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Virginia, from 1963-1967. I attended Grandin Court Elementary for grades 1-5, Raleigh Court Elementary for grades 6-7 and Woodrow Wilson Junior High for grade 8.

S in Forestry and Wildlife Management in 1971. I also served 4 years as Student Assistant Sports Information Director on full athletic scholarship while I was there. I kept statistics and did some writing for newspapers. Also ran the pressbox for home basketball games.
