William (Bill)'s Story

Life I am retired from Motorola, later General Dynamics as a senior Quality Manager after 30 years. We have been in Scottsdale Arizona for 35 years and have two grown daughters and two grandboys. As an Amateur Radio Operator (Ham) I am heavily involved with radio technology and Emergency Communications. I also do some stained glass and volunteer some with the local food bank. Unfortunately, in May of 2009 I lost my wife of 46 years, Claudia, as a result of an automobile accident. Since this, I have added volunteering at the Donate Life organ donor organization. eys is keeping a father of 3, grandfather of 4, husband of 48 years alive. Life got further complicated on Saturday, Nov 21st when my 95 Year Old Mother-In-Law suddenly passed away. What a year. One of Claudia's long time friends from exercise and swimming classes came into my life, likewise widowed. We discovered we like similar activities and have "dated" for a couple of years now.
