William's Story
Life
Over the past 5 years, I have been trying many different fields of interest. I became a trumpet tutor, a trumpet performer for the Roman Catholic church: The Shrine of the Little Flower, a math tutor, a writer, a soldier, a religion teacher, an altar server, and most recently a college candidate seminarian.
I have worked various jobs, taught many people, counseled people in trouble, traveled, and performed. I decided many years ago that I wanted to become a Roman Catholic priest. I bounced around in the hopes that I would find something else. However, the priesthood has stayed with me. Last year I joined the Franciscan Brothers and Sisters of Penance. Now I am to become a seminarian.
Those who knew me in middle school may be surprised to hear it, I'm sure. But even then, I had the priesthood in the back of my mind. Even though I have many restrictions on me, I still have fun. I get to fly for free, travel, go to the Bahamas, perform search and rescue, and perform music. I still do a lot of work in the public sector, so don't think that I'm a monk who lives a secluded life.

ey, I attended CCBC-Essex. I attempted a double major of English Secondary Education and Music Education. Unfortunately, I can not handle 24 credits per semester and I was forced to drop the Music. In the Spring semester, I dropped the English part of my educational degree. I am now hoping pursue a Science Secondary Education degree. I have also begun to take philosophy so that I may cut a semester off of the seminary.
Workplace
About 2 years ago, I began work for Safeway. I started as a courtesy clerk doing customer service, bagging, stocking, cleaning, and cart collecting. I became the senior part time courtesy clerk. About 6 months ago, I became a cashier. Recently, I was transferred into the pharmacy as a technician. I fill perscriptions, call patients, sell the perscriptions, answer calls, stock, order, and occassionally counsel patients.
Military
I joined the USAF-CAP when I was a junior at Archbishop Curley High School. I spent two years as a cadet. I transitioned from the program into the officer's field in December 2006. I now specialize in public affairs, cadet programs, search and rescue, and emergency services.
