William's Story

m 12 CLASSMATES® GUESTBOOK 771 Your Profile Notes 10 Total Notes 0 Recent 0 Recent William Mulligan Note from William: My update lately goes like this, it's been 5 years now with the Lettire Family in their Construction Company and has been also exciting time when one job is finished and the next one starts. Since my first days with LCC I've worked in Upper West Side, two projects in the Bronx, one of them earning "LEEDS Gold" a fete next to none. LEEDS Gold is a rating not many Residential Building in the USA csn enjoy. I've now settled on our next project at the foot of the "Edward Koch Bridge" formerly known as the "Queensboro Bridge" or the "59th Street Bridge" on the Queens Side. This will be a 23 story 420 Unit Apartment Building with a bunch of amenities for it's tenants. Recently we hosted our second family wedding. This was for Maureen our youngest daughter, this past October. The largest family wedding thusfar. One of the best I ever attended although an Irish wedding on St. Patrick's Day is very, very, very close. So far our family has been blessed and I thank God everyday. Susan and I continue with our lives together in Ma...Expand for more
ssapequa and as retirement gets close we would love to moved back near to where our beginning first started in the Village of Amityville or our second choice along the North Carolina Coast. I must admit that I'd thought I'd never see the day, Susan, myself and our family were informed this past Christmas from Maureen that we are to become Grandparents. I had warned my two married children, Colleen Cosgrove and Maureen Rogers not to have any children before I turn 60 years old but it goes to show that I don't have a say it their lives as much as once I did. Susan continues to work at Hofstra University but has since left the Law School to another Department within the University. Sean our yougest of all is also attending and has made the move to Journalism with published articles in our hometown paper, Massapequa Post, as well as the Babylon Becon and the Hofstra School Paper. He has also joined the Volunteers of the Massapequa Fire Department. As all of us from the 1973 Graduation Class gets older it seems that our bodies do not keep up as much as we would like it too so with that said I wish all to "Be Well and in Good Spirits" until next time.
