At Wayne State University, was a Board of Governor’s Scholar from 1968 to 1971. In Chicago, Illinois, a graduate of the University of Chicago, M.A., 1974, Sociology and Ph.D, 1981, Committee on Human Development, Social Psychology of Aging. At the University of Chicago, was a Health Education and Welfare Trainee in Adult Development and Aging from 1974 to1976 and a N.I.H. Trainee in Mental Health Program Evaluation from 1976 to 1977. Active duty,1962 to 1966 United States Air Force with an Honorable Discharge. Stationed at the Lackland Air Force Base, Texas for basic training; Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi for trained in Light Ground Communication Repair; Brendise Air Force Base, USAF Security Service in Brendise, Italy; Ajo Air Force Base in Ajo, Arizona; and, Fort Custer Air Force Base in Battle Creek, Michigan. Worked as a technician for Omni Spectra Incorporated developing passive microwave components for satellite communication; an ESS-1 switchman for Detroit Bell Telephone Company, and a RCA TV repairman in Detroit, Michigan; 1980 and 1981, a psychologist for the U.
