Signed up for Army National Guard during my Junior year, and went right in after graduation. Ended my enlistment in 1998, against my better judgement. Worked several electronics and computer service jobs during that time. Studied computer programming and started that as a career in 1999. Worked for a custom software house that was bought by its largest client; and worked there until 2007. Joined up in 2007 with a company I helped put together in 2005, Logical Logistics Consulting, llc. Wrote my own warehouse management system, MINK, and started selling it to distribution and manufacturing companies around central Indiana late 2007. I was married in 1995 and had my first (and only) child, Matthew Sergei Sutherlin Russell in 1996. She convinced me that if I did not get out of the Army, she would leave me, but the real reason was that it gave me too much backbone.
