William's Story
Life...
Life is going well for me. I have a few past regrets, but who doesn't? Overall, I'm a happy with the way life is turning out.
I still hope to have children in my life, someday. I just purchased a home in Cornville, ME which is literally five minutes away from where I work in Skowhegan. It is a raised ranch which was built in 1974. It is situated in the middle of two acres of land on Hilton Hill. There is forest all around my house and I can't see any neighbors. It is perfect for me.
I spent Christmas of 2008 with my brother Dean who currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. He surprised me and flew my sister and parents in too. It was great to all be together again for a holiday.
School...
High school was fun. I spent most of it in the computer room. I had a lot of good times with my brother Dean, Dave Kardos, Norman Lawson, John Siscoe and the Pasquale brothers.
My biggest crush in high school and into college was for Colleen...Expand for more
Tierney.
Don Harrison was the teacher who inspred me most as he helped me to realize my talent for writing computer software which I have taken full advantage of.
If I could force my current consciousness back into the body I had back then, I'd do it without hesitation and I wouldn't look back. I had a lot of fun in my youth.
College...
I was a commuter who spent a lot of time passed out in friends dorm rooms in college. ;) I never really ate the cafeteria food and preferred restaurants or my Mom's cooking instead. I miss Julio's stuffed pizza. :) I joined a co-ed fraternity called Phi-Pi-Delta and have a lot of great memories from that. Yet, through all of the partying, I still graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a 3.8 grade point average.
Workplace...
I couldn't be happier at work. I'm challenged every day with interesting problems to solve. I like what I do and could not imagine life without work.
