Life Left West Kentucky in 57....was going to go to Cuba and join Castro's freedom fighters! Got to Florida and had no idea how to get any further....so.... joined the service. Got into computers long before anyone knew what they wanted. Worked my way up to Master Sergeant(6 stripes). Went to night school and got my degree from Univ of Nebraska (history and speech). Attended Officer Training School and eventually retired as Captain in 1977 (was running the computer center at the Space and Missile division at Vandenberg AFB Calif). Moved to Montgomery AL and went to work civil service(for the Air Force). Stayed with computers until (second)retirement in 1999. Officiated football for many years as a pastime. Hlina from Geneva Nebraska in 1963. We have 2 girls and 4 grandchildren. Now triple dipping so to speak...Air Force retirement, Civil Service retirement and Social Security. Do a little independent consulting on the side (when someone is willing to pay my labor rate). Spend quite a bit of time bass fishing. Drive motor home and pull boat to South Florida regularly. College Attended Murray State for nearly 2 terms. Don't think I passed a class (although I did make a couple of D's as best I recall). I even flunked PE!!! After many years in the service I went to the Univ of Nebraska night school until I got enough credits for the Air Force to pay my way for 12 months on campus. Got my degree in History and Speech in 1971.
