Winona's Story
I left Toronto in 1954 (a few days before huricane Hazel) and I was in Mr. Harvey's class. I finished public school in North Bay Ontario and continued on into high school in North Bay. I married Bill Schorse in May of 1960 and we celebrated our 52nd anniversary this year. We have 2 boys, one in Calgary and the other in Niagara Falls. ning chair seats. That was an off-shoot from the canoe company as we installed cane seats in our canoes. Many people saw them and said they have chairs that needed caning. That's how that started. We now own antique cars and go to many car shows in the summer. We are really enjoying retirement but are still very busy. We have 2 cute cats which we really enjoy and can't imagine being without them. I have kept in touch with a couple of gals I went to Hughes School.
