Winston's Story
Returned from Mannheim American High School in Germany in "59 to attend Peabody High in Petersburg Va. Graduated from Peabody in '63 (and one half). Attended Miami Dade '64 to '66 where I met my wife Shirley and the rest of the Northwestern High crew (c-dog, moose, etc.). Employed by Pratt Whitney Aircraft in Palm Beach in Design Engineering Dept. design of jet and rocket engines. Also employed at Magnavox, Ft. Wayne, Ind. in electronic warfare dept., Radiation Inc. Melbourne, Fla. in electronic countermeasures dept., Moduflex Corp. Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. inovative design of modular homes, Datacraft Corp., Ft. Lauderdale, semiconductor memory design for computers, EBASCO Corp., design of nuclear and fossil fuel power plants, in Atlanta where I decided to attend law school. Began practicing law and loved it. Appointed as a judge in '85. would challenge anyone to a basketball game at the outdoor courts at Wadsworth and Columbia Elementary School and, developed quite a reputation. I also photographed many of the sporting events in the early 80's. Retired from the bench in 2010. Currently an adjunct instructor with Georgia Piedmont Technical College teaching criminal justice.
Now that I am on a roll, I can't believe that all of my classmates are retired (smile)

Enjoying my work with no plans to retire anytime soon. Committed to making a change within our criminal justice system. I speak nationally on the concept of Therapeutic Jurisprudence.
Thinking about teaching at the college level when I retire from the judiciary. And, get back to fishing, diving and boating again. Bucket list update: Teaching but still no fishing, diving nor boating. Honey-Do list is too long.
