Yolande's Story
Three days after graduation, my high school sweetheart (Larry "Crowe" Gardner) and I married. He had been drafted but we had dated almost 4 years. He was sent to Ft. Polk, Louisiana headed to Vietnam. An injury in training kept him there while his company did go to Vietnam. I lived with him for almost a year and then we were sent to Frankfurt, Germany for a year.
When he got out of the Army we both went to Alabama. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Business Education and Larry earned his degree in Business Administration.
I would love to see Mrs. Perryman again since she had the greatest impact on my life! Her love of Business Education is what made me decide to major in that field. I graduated in May, 1976.

r children. From ballparks to dance recitals, we did it all. They both graduated from U of A, Jen in 2000 and Nick in 2002.
My biggest surprise in life has been the joy of raising the most beautiful daughter in the world and the most handsome son. They make me so proud everyday. They love Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior as Larry and I do.
Both of them got married last year. My darling Jennifer got pregnant on her honeymoon and now has the most beautiful daughter in the world (smartest too) lol.
If I could do one thing over, it would be keep in touch with old friends, especially Libbie Warren and Gail Bailey.
On July 24, 2000 my Dad passed away. The following year was so sad for me. My whole family was devastated by our loss. Even now I think how much he would have loved holding Eden and would have laughed at her antics!
