Yung's Story
Life
After leaving Sarnia, I went to University of Toronto, and met my first wife, Denise there, and got married by 3rd year University. She was an Actress/Singer and I was an Entrepreneur -- after 16 years of marriage, we broke up, with no kids. Following a brief (albeit enjoyable *lol*), single period in my mid-30's, I met and married the love of my life, Katrina. She is my soft place to fall, and I count myself amongst the luckiest men in the world. We are based out of downtown Toronto, and take every opportunity to live the "life of Riley", through motorcycling, dragon boat racing, traveling, spending time with family and friends and other adventures whenever life permits.
College
Going to university gave me the freedom that I had been craving for all of my life. At seventeen years old, I was able to finally break out of the pattern of how everyone else chose to see me, and develop my own vision of how I saw myself. It cemented my personal perspectives on life, obligation, friends, family and opened up my thinking as a free thinking, libertarian, citizen of the world. My best friend was from St. Lucia, my girlfriend was from South Africa, I worked part-time to put myself through school with immigrants from Portugal, Germany and Ireland -- amongst the people that I respect the most, to this day.
I was a proud member of the Elmsley House gators, at New College, University of Toronto. My objective in those years was to graduate with 'almost' as many brain cells as I started with -- fortunately, it would appear that I achieved my objective, although I only have somewhat fuzzy memories of certain episodes while there *lol*.
They say that memories are amplifications of reality -- good or bad -- in my case, I have very fond recollections of my time at University.
