Life After I left St. Pat's grade 12, I went to second year CEGEP at St. Lawrence, then did one year of a BA in Modern Languages at Loyola. While there, I met my husband and four years later we were married. Two year after that we moved to Kitchener and were there for 14 years when he was let go from Prudential Assurance, Computer section - he had worked there for 21 years. We had two girls and had a lovely life in Kitchener. I had worked as a legal secretary after leaving the Mother House in Montreal (the year after University), medical secretary, human resource assistant, Volunteer Resources Coordinator for a drop-in centre for Moms and Kids, private day care operator and toy salesperson. We restarted our lives in Ottawa 10 years ago and it hasn't been easy.
