Yvonne's Story
Since high school, I left to join the US Navy. I was enlisted for 11 years. During this time, I had a blast seeing most of the world. Mainly the Asian countries such as Japan, Philiipines, Hong Kong and many others in the Asian Pacific area. Also, during this time I was married during my enlistment and then divorced after my enlistment. Also during this time, I went onto to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. I have moved up and down the west coast and finally came back home to Farmington in 07'. After many years of being in the military, I joined the NM National Guard and was commissioned to an Officer in 08'. I now live in Las Cruces, NM working as an Analyst for a prestigious company. e sun; I am slowly adapting to the desert, windy Las Cruces. Who know's in the near future, I will once again be living near the ocean.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Tayna Benally, because she was my best friend through hgh school.
Today, Mar2011, I am a 1LT in the Army deployed to Kosovo. A small country located in the once a upon time "Yugoslavia". I am on a peacekeeping mission. I was the Civil Military Operation Officer, now I am the Supply Accountable Officer for the Task Force. I absolutely miss home but wont be home until Dec2011. So for the time being, I a enjoying the people, the sites - all the while pursuing my Masters Degree in Information Technology.
