Zelma's Story
I attended Buffalo school from 1st grade through 7th. My two oldest brothers, Ed & Rich graduated from Buffalo. My other older brother, Ron,my youngest brother Jim and I all graduated from Waynedale High in Wayne County, Ohio.
Because of the influence of teachers like Mr. English, I always wanted to be a teacher.
I worked all through High School to make that dream come true. I attended BGSU (OH), got married, raised two boys,taught for a couple of years while continuing college, was in two bad car accidents, finally went to Kent State, graduated,became a French Teacher, retired in 2007.
My husband and I went to Europe 6 times, five with students.

one son living, 2 grandkids, & two great-grandkids. Our youngest son was killed coming home from college at age 19.It never stops hurting.I always told my students how precious they were because I knew!!
My husband and I spend lots of time going around to car shows, showing off our Mustang GT and spending time with our family and friends.
One of my most vivid memories about Buffalo High was when teacher Mrs. Robbins, hit my brother Jim's hand because he was using his left hand and at recess I let the air out of her tires!!
Since my days at BGSU, I've been called Zee as my roommates said I didn't look like a << Zelma>> so they nicknamed me Zee and it stuck.
