2013February Update: Retirement seems to be suiting us just fine ... snowbirds now and loving Phoenix ... sadly just before Christmas we had to say goodbye to Thandi, our beautiful Golden Retriever, so we are missing her terribly in our daily lives as she was such a constant and wonderful travelling companion. Kids are both doing well in their chosen professions and leading very busy lives. I've just heard there might be a 40 year class reunion this year ... that's a lot of catching up to do !! 2011November Update: Miles and I are both happily retired, still in Penticton (can't think of any reason to move away from this beautiful area) -- I retired Oct2010 and Miles Aug2011; another milestone, we are now grandparents of beautiful little boy (5 mos) of Kevin & Sarah's (they were married July 2010). Kevin works now in the engineering dept of the City of Victoria. My daughter Jen is in her 2nd year of her pediatric residency at BC Children's Hospital in Vancouver having graduated as a medical doctor from UBC in May 2010. We lost our beloved German Shepherd Koda in Aug of this year due another round of cancer but still enjoy very much the company of our Golden Retriever Thandi.
