Zolla's Story
Life
After college in Arizona I spent several years doing social work with the mentally ill and disabled and got to do a little bit of mission work in Eastern Europe and Mexico.
1996: I knew I wanted to continue doing mission work, but I also knew that I wanted more interesting and challenging employment, so I went back to school to study computer science.
Late one night in the computer lab, I met the love of my life. He wasn't in the lab, but he was only about an hour away, and our connection point was an internet dating site. 16 months later we were married.
We are still happily married, with a few animals we have picked up along the way -- two cats an Aussie and a Bernese Mountain Dog.
I work as a web designer and John just finished his masters in Biblical Studies.
That about sums it up. I look forward to hearing from you!

School
If I could do high school over ...Expand for more
again, I wouldn't be so shy. I would go to the board with some of those hard Calculus problems and talk to more people.
Still, I have fond memories of you all, and it was fun seeing some of you at the last reunion. Hopefully more will come to the next one. It's fun seeing how everyone has grown up.
College
First I went to the University of Arizona. I studied cello, but it ended up being too hard as a major, so I switched to religious studies and graduated in 1990.
Then, six years later, I realized that I needed to get a job, so I went back to school at Indiana University and got a Bachelor's in computer science. This was one of the best things I ever did, because it led to my career in web design, which I love.
Workplace
I've been through a variety of jobs: waitress, house cleaner, Lowe's (plumbing and electrical departments. Ha! I was clueless.), behavioral health technician, missionary, and now web designer. whew.
