On September 20th 2008 Lou Oechsli will host a "Louisiana ho-down" . He lives near Salisbury, Maryland (30 miles west of Ocean City). He chose this date because it is the best time of year to go to the beach--no crowds with great late summer weather, the ocean is at its warmest, and hotel and condo rates are low. He proposes a road trip--long weekend get away to Ocean City, MD and then a party at his farm on the 20th. A Surf and Turf weekend!
