Several members of EHS class of 1971 have initiated plans for a 50th reunion picnic for classes of 1970, 1971 and 1972. Location is Veterans Park near Spain High School in Hoover. Park is about 3 miles east of I-65 from Valleydale Road exit, going toward Hwy 280. Date is Saturday August 7 from 9 AM to 5 PM,,under one of the pavilions. Much thanks to Randy Mayfield, Mike Dempsey, Gary Young and Karen Hulslander McKinney for sharing the info. Also thanks to Tony Petelos for securing use of the pavilion. Since it is a picnic, bring your own food and beverages. I'm not the organizer, but wanted to get the word out to classes 1970/1971/1972.
