PARADE-Saturday morning: We plan to meet at the city park to park and get on the trailer for the parade. The time will be posted here as soon as we are given our lineup time. If you miss us at the city park, I will put our spot number in the parade on here so you can find us in the lineup. We do not have that information yet. Teresa will have the shirts there for those who have not already gotten theirs. The trailer will go back to the city park after the parade for those who are parked there. REUNION- Begins at 4:00 ‘til…😊😊 Address is 1235 LCR 758 Thornton, TX We will be providing the fajitas, rice, and beans, along with the fixings for the fajitas .We ask classmates to bring: desserts, chips and dip, tea (gallon-Bush’s and Brookshires have these in sweet and unsweet), other sides, soft drinks-if you want those, your beverage of choice for the evening, and lawn chairs with your name on them if you have any. If you already know what you plan to bring, you can post it on the "Groesbeck HS Class of '83" FB page. page, We have always had plenty of food at our past reunions so we will eat good😊 We are expecting a good crowd this year. At the reunion, we are going to ask for donations for our account to go toward some of these expenses, use for our next reunion as well as to provide flowers or scholarship donations when we lose one of our classmates. We will discuss this at the reunion. Please bring your significant other, and I think most of us have grown or adult children. They are also invited if they want to hang out with their parents. Teresa has an awesome place and plenty of room for us to set up in the shop or outside to eat with music and food set up space already there! We have tables so we’re asking you to bring a lawn chair if you have one. Those who want to play corn hole or dominoes -feel free to bring those. I’m sure we’ll have some there.
