This will be the first ever (sole) class of 1974-specific reunion - truly a once in a lifetime opportunity! P.S. The Reunion is currently open to every student who who graduated Gr.12 in 1974 (plus one guest), or who was in our '71-'74 grad cohort, but perhaps left the school before completing Gr. 12. The Reunion info email is hwhs2024[at]gmail.com (NOTE: replace the [at] with the usual ampersand symbol). Members of the reunion committee will be checking the email regularly and will respond to questions/comments you send. We also have a URL, HWHS2024.ca, which will link you directly to our Facebook page where we continue to post updates and messages. The main celebration features a ticketed reception, dinner, and dance ($125 per person) on Friday, July 12 at the Old Ashburn Golf Club beginning at 5 p.m. Tickets are still available for this central event of the festivities (but capacity is limited). See payment info below! There will also be other free (or lower-cost) festivities. A series of dine-arounds will be held at a select Metro restaurants on Thursday evening, July 11th. Plus an outside commemorative ceremony (media and photo op) on Saturday, July 13 at 2 p.m., by the old HWHS monument (next to the current HWHS building on Thomas Raddall Drive in Clayton Park West). Additionally a FREE Public medical seminar on aging & health will be led/hosted by grads Drs. Ken & Michael Buchholz (and Mike’s wife Dr. Jacqueline Ansell) on Thurs. July 11th starting at 4 p.m. at West End Baptist Church (cor. of Quinpool Rd. & Preston St, in Halifax).
