The group of classmates who have organized our class reunions are looking for some help making decisions about future events. Because of Covid-19, we chose not to hold a reunion in 2022. As we look ahead to our 50th reunion in 2027, we have three possible options. We can see pros and cons for each choice. Please let us know what YOU think (post here or send a message to Kate Pennington). We would love to hear from as many classmates as possible by the end of February. Option 1: Wait until 2027 for our next class reunion, the 50th. (If you like this option, we welcome suggestions for where we should hold the event.) Option 2: Have a small, informal (and low-cost) gathering this fall or summer, and then organize a bigger event in 2027 for our 50th. (If you like this option, we welcome suggestions for where to meet up this year and where to celebrate the 50th.) Option 3: Organize a reunion this summer or fall that is similar to the large events we have held in past years, and then also celebrate our 50th reunion in 2027. (If you like this option, we welcome suggestions for where we should hold both of these events.) Whichever option we choose, we will need to do some fundraising to help build up our class treasury. We've been talking about lawn sales and raffles, and we would love to hear from you if you have other ideas. Please let us know what you think by the end of February. We will make a decision in March. We'd appreciate your help in spreading the word about this survey to all classmates you might be in touch with. We want to hear from as many people as possible.
