The below posting was from our Facebook Mel Hi 83 page. But just in case people do not have a Facebook account we wanted to post here to reach as many classmates as we can. Hello all, we are still working out the final details for the reunion. But with the menu, hors d'oeuvres , band, etc. to make it a great reunion and still reasonable cost is a bit of a challenge. Current cost with an estimated 120 guests is $100 per person. With that being said, are there any classmates who would be interested in "sponsoring" any part of the reunion through their business or personally to help lower the overall cost pp.? Current agenda is casual meet/greet Friday night at the Crowne Plaza outside bar-deck area. Saturday from 1-4 the Crown has live music on the deck. Saturday night 6-10 pm dinner/dance at Crown ballroom. Sunday morning outside bar area for goodbyes. See Aaron Crane's earlier post for info about rooms at the Crowne Plaza. I just called them and there are a couple of rooms still available on the "block" but we can add more if needed. I would recommend getting your room reserved soon. I could arrange a golf outing like I have for past reunions if there is an interest. Please contact me directly if you would like to play golf on Saturday morning. Please spread the word to other classmates who may not be on FB. Also, we will welcome other friends or siblings who are from other classes close to our year. We will keep getting more information out as we get closer. Once we know if we have any sponsors and the exact cost pp. we will set up a PayPay, Zelle or some cash app to collect payments.
