The Class of ‘71 got thrown an awful curve ball for their 50th Reunion with the pandemic, but it's time to make a final decision on the reunion before time runs out. There is no time to coordinate an event from the beginning, so the reunion will take place with Chuck's “PG County 60s and 70s Reunion Dance” event on October 2. He will make every effort to seat the class near each other. Please read the details below and make your arrangements directly with Chuck. As always, this is THE nostalgia event of the year, bringing together everyone who grew up, went to school, or worked in PG County during the 1960’s, and/or 1970’s. Accept no copycat or ripoff dances! Anyone that lived in PG County at some point during the 60s or 70s is welcome. Live entertainment by The Back Pages Band, playing music from the 1960s and 1970s, featuring two alumni from Surrattsville High from the early 70s. FREE draft beer WHILE IT LASTS. Food available for sale from the Elks Lodge Kitchen, consisting of burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chicken tenders, fried shrimp, french fries, etc. Door prize and 50-50 raffle (with all the proceeds donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital). Plus all your old friends and classmates. Bring your classmates out to show your school spirit - we love high school reunions! I will seat your class together in one section with enough notice. Tickets are $30 per person and must be purchased in advance with your RSVP. We're expecting a BIG turnout! Come on out and "Keep the memories alive"! Time waits on no one but itself.
