All who graduated in 1971 or before are invited along with spouses and friends. In 2019, 246 attended from 10 states. Doors to the banquet room will open at 11:00 am. You may socialize in the lobby until that time. The sit down dinner will be served at noon. Masks and social distancing will be in place, if required. We have use of the room until 3:00 pm. You're encouraged to remain after the dinner for additional social time. Meals are $30 per person with a choice of entree: Two piece fried chicken (breast & thigh) or roast beef or vegetarian. All meals served with California medley, mashed potatoes and gravy, tossed salad, white and wheat rolls and pie. Win a free dinner drawing: Mail your reservations by August 30 to be eligible for a free dinner. Winner will be announced at the dinner. Check out the other event happening on Friday September 10. The SHS Fifty Plus organization also supports our current graduating class by awarding deserving seniors a scholarship of $2,oo0 and reinstated the Russ Pastuck Scholarship fund to provide $2,000 to one male and one female athlete from SHS. If you cannot attend the reunion, you can still help us achieve our goal. If each alumni sent in just $20.00 a scholarship could be awarded to each of the very deserving scholarship applicants. All donations are 100% tax deductible and you will be sent tax information before the next tax filing year. The high school guidance counselor's office receives the scholarship application and prepares them for the scholarship committee. The scholarship committee examines the applications and they make the final selection. The SHS Fifty Plus is given full recognition for the scholarships at the high school senior awards breakfast.
