Hi Everyone! Here's your SAVE THE DATE announcement for the long-awaited 50th Reunion for the Class of '71!! After working around reunions for other classes, regular and religious holidays, known vacations, waiting for Covid to blow by, as well as a general interest in moving the reunion later in the year, the reunion weekend is Friday-Sunday, Sept 30-Oct 2, 2022. I'm currently developing a website that will have all the details once they're finalized (could be a ways off - I'm not exactly tech savvy). You'll be able to post memories, photos and videos, flash back to 1971, remember those who have passed, as well as pre-register and pay with a credit card directly through the website. The website will be the ONLY way to register. The La Plage patio at Longshore will be the place to be on Friday night. Classmates have been asking for a Westport location so Saturday night's more relaxed and casual event will be held at the beautiful Westport Woman's Club (they donate all rental fees to local charities and non-profits). We'll spend Sunday afternoon at Compo. If you’re on Facebook please join the Staples High School Class of ’71 group. This is where notifications of updates to the website will be posted.
