Here is what I have been able to find out about our 50th reunion from Dirk Spence, dates and times listed below. Teehans will be more of an informal "mingler"where you can walk around and talk to others as opposed to being stuck at a table with some music played too loud. We really did grow up with the best music. We had a large class, so space is a concern, if enough people respond and sat they plan on coming, we might have a small "window of opportunity" to find a larger event room or banquet hall. All depends on responses received and how quickly we get them. R.S.V.P is the key There will be nametags, but who needs them, I am certain after 50 years, we all still look exactly the same. I am not the event planner, just trying to help get this thing moving forward. Dirk;'s a talented magician who can't seem to make a computer appear at his house, or an old flip phone disappear from his pocket, so you can email me and I will make certain to pass info on. Maybe he can give us a little sample of his magic act, if you have not seen it, you will enjoy it. One tip, if you attend and someone approaches you asking, " so what have you been up to?" The correct answer should not be, "not much" or "same old, same old" For "out of towners" who for some reason chose to leave Tinley Park, there are now about 10 hotels located conveniently at 183rd and Harlem ave. 1. Woodspring suites Should be easy to catch an Uber from Teehans or Ed and Joes for the 3-mile ride over to the hotels. If you need a landmark, you will be pleased to see Dendrino's is still on the corner at 183rd and Oak Park Ave. It really will be great to see a big turnout and talk with friends we have not seen in decades. The evening and time will pass quickly, so best to make both nights, relive some fond memories. Sadly we have lost too many. Email me !
