Susan Abigail Sarandon (born October 4, 1946) is an actress. She graduated with the 1964 class of Edison High School in Edison, New Jersey. In high school, Sarandon was a reporter for the school newspaper, class treasurer, and a member of the student council. She was also a member of the National Honor Society, french club, and the cheer squad. Not surprisingly, she nabbed the starring role in her school’s production of My Sister Eileen. Sarandon is best known for her Academy nominated performances in films like Thelma and Louise, Lorenzo’s Oil, and Dead Man Walking.
