Classmates® Been There Done That: The Best Online Bucket List & Time Capsule

Life is an incredible journey filled with milestones, quirky coincidences, and “did that really happen?” moments. But how often do we take a second to actually look back at how far we’ve come? Or look forward to what’s left to explore?

Classmates is thrilled to introduce Classmates® Been There Done That, a daily interactive experience. Classmates® Been There Done That acts as your personal online bucket list and a digital yearbook time capsule all in one.

It’s designed to help you celebrate the fun things you’ve already achieved while giving you a direct look at the adventures you haven’t tackled yet. It’s more than just a game; it’s a living record of your unique life story.

What is Classmates® Been There Done That?

Classmates recently launched Classmates®  Been There Done That to give members a fun, low-pressure way to engage with their own history.

Every day, users are presented with a curated list of activities, experiences, and life events ranging from the common to the extraordinary.

  1. Check the Daily Prompts: Every day when you login to Classmates, you’ll see a new set of prompts, such as “Visit Central Park in NYC” or “Had an embarrassing nickname.”
  2. Mark Your Status: For each item, you have three simple choices:
    • Yes: You’ve done it! This automatically saves the memory to your “Did That” list (your virtual time capsule)
    • No: You haven’t done it.
    • Add to Bucket List: You haven’t done it yet, but you definitely want to! Save it to your bucket list and make plans to check it off.
  3. Build Your Profile: Over time, your selections build a comprehensive profile of who you are, where you’ve been, and where you’re going. Once you finish your daily round, click “View my Story” to see everything you’ve marked as “Done That”, “Bucket List” or “No.”

Why Is It Called Classmates® Been There Done That?

The name stems from that classic phrase we use when we’ve experienced something before.

“Been there done that” is the ultimate badge of life experience, whether it’s a shared travel destination or a universal childhood blunder. Classmates selected this name as something that feels familiar, conversational, and inclusive of every type of memory, big or small.

Why You Need an Online Bucket List

Why do you need an online bucket list? Because life is better with a plan for adventure.

It’s easy to get caught up in the routine of daily life and forget to dream. Classmates® Been There Done That is the perfect way to build a list of fun things to do because it gives you inspiration you might never have thought of on your own.

Seeing a prompt like “Learned to play an instrument” or “Visited the Grand Canyon” might be the exact spark you need to start planning your next big plan.

Your Digital Time Capsule

You have led a life worth remembering. Often, we focus so much on the future that we forget to reflect on the special memories that shaped us.

Classmates® Been There Done That gives you a chance to pause and reflect on your high school years and beyond. By marking “Yes” on experiences you’ve had, you are creating a curated archive of your personal history. It serves as a reminder of just how much you’ve accomplished and how many stories you have to tell.
