Dane William DeHaan (born February 6, 1986) is an actor. He attended Emmaus High School, in Emmaus, PA. DeHaan’s acting career began in 2008, on Broadway, when he served as Haley Joel Osment’s understudy in American Buffalo. He landed his first television role that same year, appearing in an episode of Law & Order Special Victims Unit, and made his first appearance on the big screen in 2010’s Amigo. DeHaan is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Jesse in the HBO series In Treatment as well as for his roles in Chronicle (2012), Kill Your Darlings (2013), and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014). Other performances include Lawless (2012), Life (2015), and A Cure for Wellness (2017).
