Jeffrey “Jeff” Lee Probst (born November 4, 1961) is a game show host and executive producer. He is a 1979 graduate of Newport High School, in Bellevue, WA, where he was a member of the golf team and the school’s newspaper staff. Probst first got into producing while working for Boeing Motion Picture/Television studio, where he produced and narrated marketing videos. Since 2000, he has been known for being the host of the popular reality series Survivor – and for delivering its signature line to rejected contestants: “The tribe has spoken. It’s time for you to go.” Probst also hosted Backchat, Rock & Roll Jeopardy!, and The Jeff Probst Show. In addition, he wrote and directed the 2001 film Finder’s Fee and directed 2014’s Kiss Me.
