Thomas Jeffrey “Tom” Hanks (born July 9, 1956) is an award-winning American actor, producer, writer, and director. He attended Skyline High School in Oakland, CA. He is best known for his roles in Big, Sleepless in Seattle, Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, and the Toy Story series.
