Matthew Charles Czuchry (born May 20, 1977) is an actor. He is a 1995 graduate of Science Hill High School (in Johnson City, TN), where he was a valued member of the tennis team. He’s featured in a spotlight article in his freshman yearbook, and his sophomore yearbook mentions that he played at number one position that season.

Although Czuchry attended college on a tennis scholarship, this is also where he was introduced to acting. A year after graduating, he landed his first on-screen role: a five-episode guest spot in Young Americans.

Czuchry’s career received a big boost when he was cast as Logan Huntzberger in the series Gilmore Girls (2005-2007). He returned to this role for Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016). Other acting credits include a starring role in The Good Wife (2009 – 2016), a guest spot in Friday Night Lights (2008), and appearances in Freaks and Geeks (2000), 7th Heaven (2002), and Veronica Mars (2006). He currently stars as Dr. Conrad Hawkins in the series The Resident.
