Milo Anthony Ventimiglia (born July 8, 1977) is an actor. He is a 1995 graduate of El Modena High School, in Orange, CA, where he participated in drama and student government and was a member of the wrestling team. While still in college, Ventimiglia began attending auditions. He landed his first role in 1995, as a party guest on an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He continued with television guest appearances for the next several years until he got his big acting break, portraying Jess Mariano on the popular series Gilmore Girls (a role he returned to for 2016’s Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life). Since then, Ventimiglia has kept busy alternating between film and television roles. Other notable television series work includes American DreamsThe Bedford DiariesHeroes, and The Whispers. Films include Rocky Balboa (2006), Pathology (2008), and Wild Card (2015). Ventimiglia also co-owns and operates the production company Divide Pictures. Currently, he can be seen portraying Jack Pearson in the comedy-drama series This Is Us.
