Sean Patrick Hayes (born June 26, 1970) is an actor, comedian, and producer. He is a 1988 graduate of Glenbard West High School, in Glen Ellyn, IL, where he participated in drama, choir, and orchestra. Hayes’ first brush with fame happened while he was still a teenager. He ended up as an extra in Lucas (1986), which was being filmed at his high school. Hayes’ early career included stints as a music director and a classical pianist. He moved on to standup comedy and acting in the 1990s. In 1998, he landed perhaps his biggest role to date, the character of Jack McFarland in the popular sitcom Will & Grace (1998-2006). Film credits include Cats & Dogs(2001), The Cat in the Hat (2003), Pieces of April (2003), The Bucket List (2007), and The Three Stooges (2012). Hayes also starred in the comedy series Sean Saves the World (2013-2014). In 2004, he co-founded the TV production company Hazy Mills Productions, which has produced Hot in ClevelandGrimmSean Saves the World, and Hollywood Game Night. Hayes will return to the role of Jack McFarland when Will & Grace airs a new season in 2017.
