Glenn Lewis Frey<\/strong> (November 6, 1948 \u2013 January 18, 2016) was an American musician and founder of the hit group the Eagles. <\/em>He graduated with the class of 1966 from Dondero High School <\/a>in Royal Oak, Michigan. In high school, he was a member of the group Subterraneans<\/em> which included schoolmates Doug Edwards, Bob Wilson, Doug Gensch, and Bill Barnes. Not only was he the lead singer for the group the Eagles,<\/em> he played guitar, piano and keyboard. He is known for his hit songs \u201cTake It Easy\u201d and <\/em>\u201cTequila Sunrise\u201d among many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
