Darla's Story
Life
Been There, Done That! A 1946 Baby Boomer that lived during the 60's and thought we invented drugs, sex and rock 'n roll!
My life basically consisted of School and Work and Family.
Really, 2 great kids that are grown now. Brent 31, a pilot and flight engineer working and playing in Salt Lake City, UT, and Janel 28, an OB/GYN resident and officer in the USNavy at Portsmouth, VA.
No grandchildren yet, although Janel got married in October. Getting closer!
After being single for 15 years, I remarried in September of '04 to a gentleman retired from the Air Force. We still live in Hollidaysburg, PA. I have been here for 30 years. DuBois will always be considered home, although I only spent 12 years of my life there. I guess they were some of the best years!

I enjoy ballroom dance as well as good old rock n' roll, ballet, arts, theater and acting, interior decorating, shopping, travel, (have been to Hong Kong, Europe, Hawaii).
I have been in the Real Estae Business for 20 years. I am currently an Associate Broker/Appraiser at Coldwell Banker Town and Country in Altoona, PA.
I have bought, managed and finally sold my rental properties.
I have an urge to live near the water and perhaps sail, but may have to wait until retirement for that.
I am enjoying good health, a job I enjoy, a lovely home, and am looking forward to many great "golden years" with that special someone I call Dale and maybe a few grandchildren here and there, and my 40th DuBois Area Class Reunion in the Summer of 05!
