Janice's Story
After High School, I attended the UofI - got married in 1987 and gradutated with a BS in 1988. My husband was in ROTC so we decided that it would be fun to go active duty for 4 years. We moved to Alexandria, VA in 1988 & Ft. Leonard Wood, MO in 1989. He served in Desert Storm as a Combat Engineer Officier and decided to resign his commission the following year. We bought a 100 year old house and started remodeling it. Still are working on that! I've worked quite a few different places - mostly in accounting. I am currently a financial accountant. We have adopted 4 children from China - two girls: Bailey (9), Emma (8), Ben (8) & Ethan (7). They keep us very busy and fill our house with love & laughter!
