Charles's Story
Life
I finished high school in the U.S. Navy
thru a program and school called USAFI,
and went on to fire and crash rescue
training and served 2 yrs in the fire
Dept. at Ream Field and then was sent
to Hickham Air Force base in Hawaii and
went to school thru Lockheed on the
Navy R7V Constellation and served on
the maintence of that aircraft. then
I was sent to VX5 in Calif.to a...Expand for more
air
development squadron at China lake.
After discharge I moved to Tyler TX.
and attended a G.I. Bill school and
that was where I found my wife Jeanne
and we have been married for 55 yrs now.
We moved back to Dallas in 1956.
Now it is 2011 and I am retired and
Play in a string band at nursing homes
ever week, We live in our new home down
Close to Ovilla Tx and enjoying life.
