Life
I live in Florida, blissfully happy in my second marriage, 8 years yesterday..have 3 grown kids, two daughters, a son and a stepson and three grandsons. I am not working outside the home now. Though I have had a variety of diverse jobs, my career has been nursing. My father passed on in 2002, and my mother had a stroke in 1997, so she lives with me, and I care for her at home. One of the benefits of being a nurse. I have pet parrots, amazons and a couple of macaws..they all can say a few words, but two are extremely well versed and sing. We have several saltwater aquariums, which we enjoy immensely. We have two seadoos (way cool!), and a 21ft I/O boat for cruising the waterways down here, which is the only way to get IN the water unless you have a fondness for alligators or sharks..(How I miss Virginia!) My husband is a senior java computer programmer and works in Daytona Beach. I have a small internet business making parrot carriers, greenparrot us. I've met some very interesting folks through that. I've been in touch with a couple folks I went to school with via classmates, and thats been pretty cool!
