I'm sure you'll all be surprised to hear that I'm doing computer work (UNIX installation and administration, TCP/IP network installation and administration, programming, etc).

No kids (or plans for any). We subscribe to the "rent-a-kid" philosophy: We have plenty of friends and neighbors with kids who are GLAD to let us borrow them when we want. The best part is that if they get too bratty we can RETURN them!

I'm into endurance bicycling, now. I do a lot of 100+ mile bike rides, and I've done some tours (one was 500 miles in 5 days). I also ride the National 24 Hour Challenge each year (get on a bike at 8am on Saturday, get off the bike at 8am on Sunday, see who rode the most miles.)

Tanja and I bought a new house in August 2007. It's a mid-century ranch (like what you see in "Atomic Ranch" magazine), and we're hoping to keep everything as original (or at least in the original spirit) as we can as we fix and/or renovate it.
