John's Story
Life
Well, after graduation i went to New River Community College. Big suprise. I was there for a year trying to figure out what to do with my life. I withdrew after one year and started working at Wal-Mart in Radford. After working there for almost 2 years i decided to go back to school. I decided to attend Life East Bible College. I was there for one year until it was closed. It was the decision of several of the people in charge of the school to make this move. To compensate they offered to help us move to California to attend Life Pacific. All of our credits would transfer and they would help with tuition. So here i am, in L.A. county, studying Greek and Hebrew. I've embraced the fact that i'm a nerd. I mean come on, i took Latin in High School by choice. Feel free to email me, so little of California reminds me of home, it would be nice to hear from someone familiar.
School
Well i ...Expand for more
always said i'd never miss high school, and i was wrong. It's not that i want the glory days back. Anyone who knew me then knows they weren't really glory days. I just realize now how much i wasted time then. I really wouldn't mind changing that.
College
I'm currently studying Greek and Hebrew with the intent to one day teach these subjects, hopefully at a college level. Don't know what else to say on the matter, and i'm sure you don't want to be bored with what i've learned...
Workplace
It's suprisingly hard to get a job in Los Angeles. You would think with all the people out here there would be plenty of places to work. Nope. So i'm just getting schoolwork done instead. Man, i'm 23 and not graduated yet...
I did, however, manage to get a great job at a credit union out here. then i also managed to royally screw it up.
Now I've managed to get a pretty good job working at Home Depot.
