Life
US Navy from "67-'71 (Vietnam vet), then again "74-'83. EMFN to EMC. Ships include: USS New Orleans LPH-11 Helo carrier with Marines, USS Kitty Hawk-CV-63 (we did alot of bombing), USS Cayuga County LST-1186 - made two motion pictures while onboard Cayuga,(Gray Lady Down and Airport '77), USS Forrest Sherman DD-931 - Charleston, SC. The others were homeported out of San Diego. Loved San Diego. Went to boot there plus all the electrical schools (BEEP, and EM-A). Hold an Associate in Music Ed. and then completed my BS in Occupational Education from Southern Illinois Univeristy '83.
Worked and lived in Ohio, Texas, Iowa, Nashville, TN, back to Texas and now back in Nashville. Been an Instructor/Teacher for 31 years. Systems Training Specialist for Yokogawa Corp. out of Sugar Land, TX. Presently, back in Nashville. Taught in the Navy, Corporat...Expand for more

Would like to hear from ole friends from the Navy and all of the ships I served on. Workplace - Graduated high school, joined the Navy, got out, earned an Associate degree in Music Education, re-enlisted USN, earned a Bachelors degree in Education, attained the rank of Chief Electricians Mate in the USN (15yrs), got out again, became a Regional Training Manager for a major corporation working out of their Houston TX office (9yrs), then taught college (10yrs) departments of Instrumentation Technology and Electronic Technology, now back in to the corporate teaching area. Was a certified instructor and Master Training Specialist in the Navy my last duty station was Great Lakes, Illinois. Have been a professional educator going on 31 years. Began my teaching career in '78 while in the Navy and still teaching.
