Life
I lost my freedom in june 1995 when I got married. I regained some of it back after I retired from the Air Force Feb 1999. I settled down in Shiloh Il which is 5 min from Scott AFB.
2008 Update: Jennifer and I are now part of the "Empty Nester Generation" Life is Great! We still have two cats and our Irish Wolfhound "Moose" who stands 35 inches at the shoulder and weighs 180 pounds to take care of. Some how I think I'm getting the short end of the stick. Jennifer is in charge of the litter box and I get complete control of back yard scooper duties. Life stinks!
2009 Update: We have another Irish Wolfhound named Farley. He's not as big as Moose but I'm having twice the fun in the back yard. Jennifer is doing IW rescue for the Great ...Expand for more
Lakes Irish Wolfhound association which keeps her busy and me broke. Oh well happiness doesn't come cheap.
2010 Update: My life is going to the dogs. Some how I let Jennifer talk me into another Irish Wolfhound. Sean isn't the monster that Moose is in size but he makes up for it in other ways. He is still a youngster, still growing and has a lot more energy than his two brothers. He is a much better counter top food sneak than Moose and Farley if I let my guard down. More than one sandwich has come up missing while I was looking the other way and he always maintains the "I didn't do it look".
I'm Still working towards my real retirement that are just a hand full of years away and getting closer by the day (light at the end of the tunnel).
