David's Story
Military
Enlisted in the USAF.
Have served three tours of duty in Suadi Arabia with the 4404th wing provisional, two tours in Quatar.
I helped build that base you see on TV in Doha (that was in 1996), one tour in Oman, and one tour in Jordan.
I got very bored with the USAF.
In 1998 my enlistment expired and I went into the US Army. Served as an infantryman (that'...Expand for more
s LIGHT infantry, we walked every where) in Kuwait, and Suadi. Switched my MOS to Light wheel mech. Got bored at that and went into the US Coast Guard.
Spent time on the USCGC Smilax WLIC-315. Spent several years at Station Hatteras NC, spent one year at Loran Stattion Attu Alaska. You want to talk about being isolated duty! Currently at Station Alexandria Bay NY.
