Nicola's Story
Life
Oooh! This was very out of date! I'm a mummy now! Daniel was born August 29, 2003. Anyway... quick bio.
I took a couple of years off after high school to work and stuff, before deciding to go back to high school at BCI to brush up my OAC marks. I then waitressed for a year (which was fun, but I knew I still wanted to go on to higher education). I eventually went to York University in Toronto. I spent two years there, majoring in psychology.
This is where I met my ex-husband, David. He was actually taking a year off university to travel, and was from the UK. I decided to move to the UK...Expand for more
to be with Dave after immigration sent him home a year later.
I moved to Wales, UK in July 1997. I did a college course in marketing which was interesting at the time, and has given me some interesting jobs, but I still want to finish my psych degree at some point in the future.
I was married in December 97, and we split up in June 98. (Now that's an advert for marriage, isn't it?)
I now live with my darling partner Haydn, and my little boy Daniel.
I try to visit Canada at least once a year, but after an attempt to relocate early in 2004, I've now come to the conclusion that Wales is home.
