Cynthia Kaye's Story
I have worked in healthcare since I was 18, it's all I know. I worked so much I didn't develop a social network outside of work. I realize that the only people I know are the people I worked with/on. Due to health reasons I am now unable to do what I've done and loved to do all my life. I still volunteer in a rural clinic for indigent patients, I've maintained my license to practice and added a few certifications, but it is little comparison and satisfaction to what I once knew. I live in TN now, live with my fiance' Bobby, plan to marry soon (again), probably later this year or next for sure, and have a new step grandbaby Hayden from the eldest of my twin step sons, Eric. ...Expand for more
I love the mountains but I miss the beach. I haven't attended a class reunion before because I've been too busy with work in the past. I'm now doing the role reversal thing with my Mother who just turned 81. I look forward to next years reunion, I am going to try my best to attend. You know it's time to attend a class reunion when you look at your graduating class list and only recognize a few of the names there. I do recognize the pictures though, that counts as a plus, right? ; )
I think everyone who posts a profile should have to post a photo of themselves so people with bad memories and lost high school annuals can still identify them..well that's my two cents anyway.
