John's Story
Wow, it's hard to believe it's been 52 years (as of 2015) since leaving RHS. I went from there to Syracuse University and then to the University of Michigan, where I earned an MBA in Finance. After holding financial management positions at Ford Motor Company and United Technologies, I somehow ended up managing a manufacturing plant in Chicago. 300 client companies in 48 states and 11 countries. I'm more or less retired now, and looking back on it, I don't know how I survived the constant travel for 25+ years. Anyway, enough is enough, and I'm now focused on having fun (the picture was taken in a restaurant on the Greek Island of Rhodes; the bottle of wine in the foreground was incredible). I've been in the Houston area for 35 years now, and anyone passing through is welcome to stop in for a glass (or three) of wine.
