Sharon's Story
My husband Tom and I have lived in Fort Walton Beach on the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida since March 2010. When the economy put a crimp in my interactive marketing career in the vacation rental industry and we decided we wanted to stay, we both got our real estate licenses. We are still going strong!

hile I worked for both Castle Resorts and Aston Hotels & Resorts. Tom's family lives in Florida, so when the opportunity came up here, we decided to make another trans-Pacific relocation.
The beaches here are not as dramatic as Hawaii's with their lush mountain backdrops, but they are beautiful in a more austere way, and let me tell you, you've never seen a truly WHITE sand beach until you've seen these. The cost of living is amazingly reasonable for a beachfront resort community. Come and visit!
