Ron's Story
Life
Currently I am back in Canton living with my wife and son at my parents house again. I was hit by a drunk driver on 03/03/06 which has caused me to to go through some terrible times for the last year. My wife and I hoping to get a fresh start after the settlement is done and move back to Texas for good. We will be moving to Corpus Christi, TX in a couple of months, hopefully. There isn't a lot to tell from before then, because all that I had experienced and done was just merely life. Somethings were pretty extreme that most people wouldn't have considered to do and that's what makes my life unique. The rest is up to the future! That is where I look at, not what was in the past, but what will be in the future.! I live with no regrets, even if I'm not proud of some of the things I've done. But that's me!!
School
My biggest crush was on Crystal Sills! I had a crush on her from our sophomore year to even Grad day! I still had a crush on her even a couple years after high school. My Best friend, Brandon Adams tried to get me to ask her out and I was always embarrassed to do so. I lacked the courage eventhough I have tried many times, but she was always with her girlfriends. That's life I guess! Live and learn!
I didn't have one specific teacher that inspired me. All the teachers in school didn't like me be...Expand for more
cause I was too lazy to prove myself....lol ....or maybe I was working too many hours to care about school anymore. If I had to pick one teaching influence though, I would probably choose my High school Track assistant coach. He was a student teacher from Malone college. He pushed me to always try and to prove it to myself.! I won't forget that experience.
If I had to go back to high school, would I ?......No......That would be a HELL NO!!... There are too many bad memories of me being stupid. I was always wanting things that did not provide me a future. I wish that I did things differently, but I know I can't change what I have done.
The one memory I have that I wish I could go back and change is Graduation Day! I had the unfortunate experience of watching everyone walk up and grab their diplomas, while I was trying to take pictures from the audience. I did not graduate with my class on that day, but graduated during the summer. That was the worst experience I have ever had! It took me several years after that to really get over my mistakes! Mistakes I wished I did not make! But, they were my choices and so I cannot regret what I have done. I have only learned from them and became wiser for the future. I learned! As we all have learned from those days! It's part of growing up! Live and learn! That's me now!
